BROKEN AND SHATTERED

Have you ever been through a difficult experience or time in your life and came out of it feeling completely broken?

You may have felt as though you can never be made whole again. Well, firstly understand that you are not alone. Life has a way of breaking, even the strongest people down in one way or another. And although it may be hard to recognize at first, there is a beauty in being broken.

As Christians it leads us to rely on our only true remedial source; God.

The pain of holding on to a problem or desire is sometimes much greater than letting go. Just let go.

God may be asking for total surrender (of the problem or desire) so that he can come in and put His plan in motion. It maybe to restore what was lost or grant something new. The cause of our situation may be human derived but our deliverance will be Divine if we surrender to His will.

And just as a shattered plate can be beautifully mended by Gold (a material more valuable than the original piece), so can our Father in heaven put us back together again.

Jeremiah 17:14 says “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise”.

But it doesn’t end there. When we are blessed we must bless others. Be the light you wish you had to someone else. And most importantly continue to pray and be in tune with the Savior forever and always.
